The Morally Void
From the time I was a child, I always wondered what that little voice was that told me "don't do that! It's wrong!", or caused me to feel guilty when I did something wrong. Being young, I often didn't know wrong when I did it. But the little voice remained along with that sunken, guilty feeling.
As I grew, I came to realize that the "little voice" was in fact my conscience, or in the case of a person of Christian faith like myself, my very Soul.
I thank God every day for that little voice. It's what seperates Human from Animal.
